3 Reasons We Get Acne
By Rafael A. Marquez

There are many reasons that people get acne. Some people can get from exercising and not properly cleaning their skin afterward. Personal hygiene plays a role, but it is only a part of the causes and not the sole cause.

There are several theories for what causes acne, but the one thing that almost all theories agree on, is how manifests itself. is the surface mark of a blocked pore. Under the blocked pore, there are bacteria that can create a puss filled growth that is either white tipped or black tipped.

Here are 3 reasons that we get acne:

1. is caused, primarily by excess sebum, which is a secretion by the sebaceous glands under your skin. The sebum cannot be secreted completed through the pores in your skin. The main reason for the blockage, is some kind of foreign object or some other item that keeps the sebum from exiting your skin.

2. Some people get from stress. One theory says that is caused by changes in our hormonal balance. A change in the balance makes the body produce more sebum that then over runs the body's ability to deal with the excess production of sebum. Stress factors caused from work, school, social situations can create changes in our body's hormonal balance.

3. From a food allergy of some kind. Not  everyone is affected by this. Some people benefit from changing their diet, some people don't. It appears that if you go on a gluten free diet you can benefit greatly. Other people will benefit greatly from eating less greasy foods. However, not one food (like chocolate) is usually to blame.

The thing with acne, is that there is no "one shot cure all" that works for everyone. What works for one person may not work for someone else. There are general guidelines that everyone can follow, however, there is no one cure that works for everyone.

There are a lot of different points of view on what to do to handle your acne. I have a list of resources about on the page on my website. Sign up to receive a free article with instructions on how to institute a multi-pronged approach to managing your acne. Visit http://rafaelpublishing.com/acne
