Face Acne - Want to Talk About It?
By Chantel Shuman

You can have anywhere on your body. The most common places are your face, neck, chest area, back, and maybe even the buttocks. And while no one wants to have blemishes anywhere on their body, the face is the most critical area.

The obvious reason is because you are not able to cover your face as easily. When you meet new people, they do not look at your back first. They see your face. If you are a female you can sometimes wear make-up to cover your face, but that is another article.

Having on your face can be very discouraging. Not only do you have to be reminded of it every time you look into the mirror, but also when others feel the need to point it out to you. This can lead to a tremendous impact on your self-image, or how you see yourself.

Some studies have shown that a person who suffers from face can have:

* A poor body image
* Feelings of anger and frustration
* Bouts with depression
* Reduced self-confidence
* A higher rate of unemployment

And to make matters worse, facial is not only the most common but also the hardest to get rid of, or at least the most frustrating. The oil glands on your face are really active and can get larger as you  get older. This can allow more of the oil to get backed up and clogged. Thus, causing a breakout.

Do you know where the most acne-prone areas of your face are? Think about it. Where do you get most of your breakouts?

The chin area, around the nose, and on the forehead are the prominent spots. Also known as the T-zone, these areas get most of the sun exposure which causes, you guessed it, breakouts.

Now that you know about how your facial can affect your mental well-being, and you know about the areas that are the most exposed, make sure you take the time to care for your face.

Chantel is a dedicated stay-at-home mom to her beautiful baby girl. She enjoys letting others know about great products that can help overcome life's many challenges.
