Stress:

Reducing stress from your life is also important to help you get clearer skin. Stress is believed to contribute to causing and making acne worse. Taking part in regular exercise as mentioned above can contribute to reducing stress. Also learning how to do yoga or meditation can also help to reduce stress. A good meditation exercise is to focus on your breathing. Simply take a slow relaxed deep breath in and then out and keep your mental focus only on your breathing as you inhale and then exhale. Avoid any external thoughts and if you do experience other thoughts entering your mind then gently return your focus back to your breathing. Another important tip to keep in mind is to get enough rest and sleep. The best time to sleep is between 10pm and 6am so try to get in as much rest as possible during these hours. Your body needs proper sleep to recharge and rejuvinate so do not underestimate the importance of sleep as part of an overall plan to reduce acne.
