First and maybe the most recommended way to go natural! There are foods that you can ingest or even apply directly on your face. Not only are these foods cheap, it is also highly available. You may even have this inside your fridge or cupboard for your daily dose of good breakfast! You may use your breakfast oatmeal as exfoliant! Soak uncooked oatmeal in milk for three minute until fully absorbed and soft. Gently apply on face with patting action concentrating on the T zone. Leave and let it dry on your face for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, rinse with cold water. This regimen is good to prevent acne for it gets rid of dead skin cells, oil build up and other impurities clogging the pores.
You may also use soap that has high content of sulfur. Sulfur helps by deeply cleaning the pores when unclogged making the skin healthy and free or acne. Your dermatologist will definitely be able to recommend which is best to use. Usually, you will be instructed to wash your face with this special sulfur soap once in the morning and once before going to bed.
There are also creams and ointments that you can directly apply to the acne. These creams and ointments should have high Benzoyl Peroxide content. Benzoyl Peroxide is known to be a bactericide that is effective against Propionibacterium acnes. Your dermatologist will definitely be able to explain. You may apply these creams twice a day preferably once in the morning and once before going bedtime.
Be well hydrated! Be sure to drink at least 8 glasses of water every single day. Being well hydrated makes your skin healthy. Having a healthy skin means faster cell regeneration. It also flushes out excess oil and other impurities that may contribute to build up of acne.
