There are foods that you can eat to prevent acne. These foods are known to have good amount of free radicals for faster cellular renewal. These foods also contain essential vitamins and minerals to help the skin hydrated thus flushing out excess oils and impurities. Here are some foods you can feast on to prevent acne:
1. Water. This may not be considered food, but it very important to recognize the value of water for hydration. Drinking at least eight glasses of water help the body get hydrated making it easy to flush out excess oils. It also helps the skin stay soft and supple.
2. Like water, Organic Green tea can also be ingested as it is rich in anti inflammatory chemical called catechins which helps to combat free radicals and other factors contributing to oil build up resulting acne.
3. Yogurt. Yogurt is food considered to be very healthy when ingested. However, this can also be applied on the face every morning liberally to rinse off excess oils and impurities. After ten minutes, rinse it off with cold water to leave your skin feeling fresh and soft and healthy.

6. Olive Oil. Olive oil is considered monounsaturated fat which is very healthy and beneficial in keeping skin healthy and acne free. Fats are an important source of skin nourishment for it to have an inner glow.
These foods mentioned are just some that you can either eat or apply directly on your face to prevent formation of acne. Healthy diet plays a key role. Avoid fattening and overly sweet foods because these kinds makes oil glands active thus producing more oil making it more prone to acne.
